How EventPhotoFind works

A gallery goes in, a searchable event page comes out. This is what happens in between, and what it costs you in effort: nothing after the upload.

Two people, two short paths

The organizer sets it up once. Every guest after that only sees their own path.

If you run the event

  1. Create your workspace

One account, one place your events live.

  2. Create an event

Name it, set a date and expiry, and it is ready for photos.

  3. Set the event page

Cover image, logo and accent colours — a theme preset if you do not want to pick.

  4. Upload the gallery

Drag in the folder. It uploads straight to storage and starts processing itself.

  5. Share the link

One URL or QR code. Guests take it from there.

If you are looking for your photos

  1. Open the event link

No account or app install needed.

  2. Agree to the selfie search terms

What happens to the selfie is explained first.

  3. Take or upload a selfie

Compared only against this event, then discarded.

  4. Get your matches

A results grid of the photos you are actually in, ready to view or download.

Direct upload, nothing in the middle

Your browser uploads straight to private object storage using a short-lived, single-object permission. The application never handles your image bytes, which is why a two-thousand-photo gallery does not time out on a server.

Processing you do not have to watch

Every photo is decoded, oriented from its EXIF, re-encoded without metadata, resized into a thumbnail and a preview, and indexed for face search. Around one second per photo. If something fails it retries on its own and tells you which file.

Search that stays inside your event

Faces are indexed per event. A guest's selfie is compared only against your gallery, and a search returned results in a few milliseconds across five thousand indexed faces in our own measurements.

A page that looks like your event

Set a cover image, a mobile cover, your logo and your accent colours. Turn individual sections on or off. Guests see your event, not our template.

Delivery without a support queue

Guests download their own matched set as a ZIP, built in their own browser. You do not field requests for reuploads.

A short enquiry form, if you want one

Turn on lead capture and a guest can leave a name, email or phone number while they search — with consent recorded, not assumed.

Numbers from what actually happened

Searches, match rate and unique visitors per event, computed from the search log itself rather than a running counter that can drift from it.

Bring your team in, with limits

Invite teammates by email into your workspace, each with a role — owner, admin, editor or viewer — that controls what they can change.

The numbers we actually measured

From our own test runs, not from a marketing brief. They will vary with photo size, face count and hardware.
